Our resources in the Congo are vast in terms of land and willing workers. Because we believe in empowering the Congolese with the knowledge, education, skills, and training to help themselves, we want to employ them rather than bring in outside contractors.
Vast amounts of land, donated by locals, exist all throughout the Congo, specifically in Tshela and Lukula. We are limited only by funds – with the money to hire locals to build schools, clinics, community centers, and orphanages, we could rebuild a nation of hope.
In the City of Tshela, in the Bas-Congo Province, construction is underway to build a huge vocational school to train rural entrepreneurs. It will target 1,200 villages and will equip men and women with entrepreneurial skills so that they can provide goods and services in their village and start their own businesses in rural areas.

The local people will make bricks and doing the construction. We need funds for:
- Iron sheets

Tshela Population: 47,889 people surround it; 1,298 villages administrated by 8 sectors
Class Size: avg. 40
Student Body: approx. 1600
Distance to from Kinshasa: 500 Km
In Tshela, we built the house below – local people, who have never had skills before – are taught how to build and work for themselves. They bought cement, nails, and made this house where orphaned children can live and business skills taught that will break the cycle of poverty and unskilled labor. When you build a community center like this, you are creating education for hundreds of villages whose citizens will come here to learn and receive aid and training. We need to build a community center here in Tshela. By building a community center, we take people off the street and give them jobs building a center where others will learn skills as well. By its very construction, it will create jobs and education that will exist in perpetual cycles.Facebook API came back with a faulty result.
